Otherwise, it's trying to sim 10s of thoursands of people in an XYZ plane in real-time. BUT, it's not my core processor, since I can simultaneously run FS2020 with no lag there, so it's defniitely an issue with how the game handles larger batches of passengers - simply put, above X amt, the code should consider 10 or 100 passengers, to be 1 instead, etc. I run an Intel i9 and have 40-50k passengers daily and it lags on any speed above 1X. I suppose Sim Airport needs CPU instead of GPU power so I7 would have been better for it :DĪbout Pax, I have scheduled all available flights from Learnville, Westjet, Afford Air, AeroTime, AeroStar, Galactic Point, Super Alliance, Rexana, Union Air, Pacific Airlines including EAM and I was planning to go 100% with the remaining companies :)ĭon't stress your CPU/GPU decision. When I bought my pc (not a brand new one but a 2nd hand pc, ready to use) several years ago, the choice was between an I5 with a GeForce GTX 1060 and an I7 with a GTX 1030.Īll the reviews and benchmarks were in favor of GTX 1060 so I got for the first option to play Assetto Corsa and Euro Truck Simulator 2 :) I have spent the past 2 evening (this one included) by restoring previous save and repeating things again and again.įinally, I really like this game. I'm periodically redrawing the layout having almost 700 workers creating new floors, setting carpets, creating restrooms, stores, escalators at the same time.ĭoes building requires lot of CPU? (so basically, just do one work at the time? :) ) Should I remove any scheduling? (I was using it in the past but right now I have only a color bar but still the other 3-4 defined even if not used). I'm covering the whole day with flights (EAM included). These are more or less my current numbers:Īny tips and tricks to have it run a bit smoothly? I really like this game but, lately, my airport is keep growing up and it's keep slowing down and suddenly crash.
